Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you order from leafiew.com. The site is operated by MONTAGRO TRADING SRL, trading as Leafiew, of Str. Zmeurei nr. 20, Agigea, Constanța County, Romania.

We are a Romanian company, so we are the data controller for this information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and the GDPR applies to what we do with it wherever in the world you live.

What we collect

• Order details — your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and what you bought.
• Payment confirmation — the outcome of your payment, the card brand and its last four digits. We never receive your full card number.
• Messages — anything you send us by email or through our contact and quote forms.

What we do with it

We use it to take payment, ship your order, send you order and shipping updates, handle returns and support, keep the tax and accounting records we're legally required to keep, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Our legal grounds for using it

• To perform our contract with you — taking payment, shipping your order, handling returns and answering support questions.
• To meet a legal obligation — keeping tax, accounting and transaction records for the periods the law requires.
• Our legitimate interests — preventing fraud and keeping the site secure. We only rely on this where it does not override your own interests.
• Your consent — if you ever opt in to marketing email. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who else sees it

• Stripe, Inc. processes card payments and holds the payment data you enter on its hosted checkout page.
• Amazon.com Services LLC picks, packs and ships our orders through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, so it receives your name, shipping address, phone number and the items ordered. Ordering here does not create an Amazon account or link to one you may have.
• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes standard server logs.
• Carriers receive the address details needed to deliver your parcel.

We also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, we don't share it.

Sending data outside the EU

Stripe, Amazon and Netlify are US companies, and your order has to reach a US warehouse to be delivered, so your information is transferred to the United States. We rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where the recipient is certified under it, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to give that transfer a lawful basis and to keep your data protected to an equivalent standard.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your basket is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh; clearing your browser data clears it. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout page, which its privacy policy covers.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require — generally seven years. Support emails are kept for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to another provider in a portable form. You can also object to processing we base on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent wherever we rely on it.

Email support@leafiew.com and we will respond within one month. Deletion cannot extend to records we are legally required to keep, such as completed transactions.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (dataprotection.ro), or to the supervisory authority where you live.

If you're a California resident, you also have the right to know what we collect, to ask for deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Children

This is a business selling packaging supplies and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
